Update on League

Hello all :)

The question I keep getting asked..... When is league starting?

The Ave and I have come to an agreement for me to take it over. BUT it all depends on a few legal matters and getting insurance. That is the big one, seems no one wants to take on a bar right now.

The paper work is started and waiting for answers from city, RCMP record check, liquor board and the list goes on before I know if this is even possible for me to finalize the deal.

There has been 4 teams that pulled until Covid is over, so your opinions on all this is very important to me.

I miss it as much as you all but there is so much to consider starting up.

* Covid numbers climbing

* New Covid rules to follow

* play matches on two tables and go to 5 players per round, 25 game format. Would mean 20 people in Chalks and 20 in Elks per night.

* Number of tables at this time.... 4 at Chalk and I can put 4 in Elks Halls once we know league is going to start

* I've been asked to return to CCS program and drop Compusport because there is no POY system. What's your thoughts?

* Would your team be able to play on more than one night? Both nights would still play once a week and schedule would be made in advance to book time from work.

Example Tuesday Rec would be on a Monday & Tuesday
Wednesday Open play Wednesday & Thursdays

This is just an option if I can't get the Ave opened.

Could all captains talk with their players and find out who's comfortable with starting league. And bring all your questions and concerns to meeting. Two people from each team can come to meeting.

Tuesday Rec Meeting Tuesday Sept 29th at the Avalanche 7pm

Wednesday Open Meeting Wednesday 30th at the Avalanche 7pm

Please reply to this email and confirm if your team is coming or not returning this season.

Lets Play Safe out there :)
Rose
