First I must tell you how much I feel the love from this league...we truly are one big crazy loving family For those that didn't make meeting, I had some bad news for you all and than something really special happened.

For all of you that haven't heard the Avalanche may not be reopening. They fall under night club rules right now and would have to change to a pub licence and close earlier. If they do open they need to follow the new COVID-19 rules. League night is two many people in an area at a time. So if they do open it will be day time only until the get further notice from government.

Minutes of meeting

There was 9 teams from each night... total 18 teams in attendance for meeting.
Went over finical report of team trips to Nanaimo & Penticton from both league nights. Each captain at meeting received a copy of financials and I emailed the ones that said they won't be there. If you missed meeting and I haven't emailed you one please send me an email and Ill get one to you asap.

Tuesday Rec Division has approx. $9,116

Tuesday Rec Final League standings $2700

2 – Save until we can have playoffs. Once COVID 19 rules lift I can put my tables in legion hall if bars are not available for play.

3 – Save a portion for a banquet, maybe outside at a campground like Seal Bay

4 – Give a portion to YANA

5 - Keep in CVPL trust account and if none of the above is possible use for a pool hall.

When asked what to do with Playoffs money....is when the room filled with love and it got special...Jim & Christie Brown said for me to keep the money, than Marty Mathews, Terry Samuals, Kevin Ostashek, Ben Gill, Shawn Woodcock & Chris Kettleson. all said the same thing. Than that night a call from Richard Smith & email from Rob Wright saying keep his teams portion of the Playoffs funds.

Well hello Niagara Falls .... I truly feel the love and appreciate all your kindness but I'm no different then my neighbor who lost his job or business over COVD-19. I can get another job and I've been keeping busy doing installations, the bills are getting paid.

As this crazy loving family was a little determined I take their money for the goodness of saving our league. I agreed to hold it the CVPL trust account until we know if or when the Ave will open. Who knows maybe we can have a late playoffs if they re open before Sept and a banquet at a campground like Seal Bay.

Back up plan is to put money towards opening a pool hall. Which is a great plan and I'm looking into a few options. In the mean time for those teams that donated money back to me....it's not mine it's still yours but in CVPL trust for our league to move forward. I looking forward to our next meeting to start brain storming how we can build or find us a pool hall. We have no shortage of tables :)

Unfortunately I cant send e-transfer from a trust account and it's two weeks until I can get in for a meeting. I can withdraw cash and meet you all Wednesday 7 pm at the Avalanche. Come to back door and I'll be set up to pay. Teams that are in the rears on league dues please come at 7:30. I will have everyone else gone and will have time for you. Please bring your whole team and we will go over financials together.
