Hello my long lost pool league family

It's been 60 days since our last league night and than our world as we know it changed in a blink of an eye. It's hit me very hard as I'm sure it's hurt many of you as well. It's like going through the 8 steps of grieving over and over again. It's becoming a reality that everything I've worked so hard to build to keep the sport of pool going on the Island could be coming to an end.

Unfortunately the venues are really feeling the hit as well and we may need to consider other solutions for our league. I've talked with Devin and we can have a league meeting in the main part of the bar. Every team can have their own table and we can still practice solar distancing. The bar will not be open so please bring your own non alcohol drink.

League Meeting for both divisions Wednesday May 20th at 6:30pm I know some are traveling and are couples...Please no more than two people from a team at each table. If you can't make meeting or just don't feel safe to do so. Please let me know and I will see if someone in the league can get those of you that can't make it hooked up on zoom.

Please each captain respond if coming or would prefer to be on zoom.

I'll have financial reports for both division and would like to hear from you all what you think we should do with the funds.

My suggestion is to take reminder and pay out based on final league standings. Divide funds by percentage based on rounds won. Teams that have make up matches not completed would split those rounds. Was hoping we could have a banquet bar b q at a camp ground like Seal Bay Park in the near future.

Some teams have paid ahead and some are behind. I will have that full report with me and will pay back teams at meeting that have over paid. Teams that owe the money will come out of your winnings.
