Top Dog Finals on Saturday at the Avalanche we had 31 players competing for $1250 payed out in skins format and all players that didn't win money received gift cards from Yiama's and the Avalanche. Congratulations to Serge Senchar....had a tough haul losing his first match to Fergie he came all the way up the B side to take out Marty Copeman to become the CVPL Top Dog!

Before the event I gave a speech on Good Sportsmanship just as I sent out in last email. That I will not tolerate poor behavior and sharking from players in this league. If it's a tournament or league play I expect Good Sportsmanship from all players.

I was very happy to see the few players that are usually the poor sports were showing their best behavior. The tournament ran smoothly all day and we stayed on schedule. Unfortunately we had an incident that happened towards the end of the tournament with a player that I have suspended from the CVPL for poor Sportsmanship and damaging my pool table.

Board Meeting this Wednesday at the Avalanche 6pm to discuss how long this player should be suspended. Could all board members please confirm with me that they can make meeting.
