Tuesday Night League 3 Teams - ^This Way Up^, Ball Busters, Family's Stix Together

If was nice to have the time to have a chat and discuss the changes that have happen in the league over the last few years. We all have grown into one large family and there's bound to be disagreements. Like that cranky relative you love to hate...but kill them with hugs and and kisses. Within our league we need to address these situations positively to grow and move forward.

Player and Team Ranking for Tuesday & Wednesday Night League No player ranking changes for this season. Only players that have a X beside them will be given a rank based on their finish this season.

Wednesday Night League Max Two A players play per round but not required.

Tuesday Night League Two B players play per round....NO A Players allowed.

Nest Season all players will start the season with their average from last season for the first two weeks. Any new players coming in on Wednesday night will come in as a 10 average for the first two weeks. Tuesday night we will discusses this when we have more teams at the first meeting of next season.

Meetings on league night sometimes rushed and I believe some don't even realize what their voting on. Everyone wants to get to their match...totally understandable.

For example this year...league payouts were voted out on Wednesday night because not enough money to send teams to Penticton. When playoffs came many were upset...How come no payouts?

Team Hank Books and Weekly News Letters This is one thing I miss, the communication we had within the league. Every year I handed out an updated handbook which covered all info about the league, meeting dates, rules, tourney's. Than every week sent weekly news letters. We had great communications and everyone new what was going on or where to find info in Team HandBook.

I'm worker on linking Compusport to our web page as well as send weekly news letters without having to build the league in CCS as well as Compusport. Better communication is a start to moving forward.

Voted in for Wednesday League Put more money back in league standing and give players something to strive for nightly.

Payout 60% in final league Standing

- Cut 4 days off of trip to Penticton... send teams for 2 to 3 days max. (Depends on start date for team event)
- No hotel stay for teams in Nanaimo but pay for the whole team entry
- Increase league fees to $12 a player per night
- CCS Dues $20 plus $3 a player for Compusport [Due first night of league play


I think these are all great steps forward as we continue to grow. I have two new teams for Tuesday Night and a few new a players looking for a team or possible a new team. All teams returning please confirm your spot ASAP.

Handicapping Rule for Playoffs There was a confusion in the B Division playoffs but all was worked out. When bringing in a new player for playoffs the rule stands only 1 point higher Average...lower is fine.
