CVPL web page has been updated and there is a difference between overall points on our league web site compared to Compusport. What it seems to be is, on Compusport they include the handicap in the overall points and our league web page doesn't.

This does not effect the final out come of standings. It has been a learning curve with the new program and I'm working with Compusport to improve things for next season.

Playoffs Schedule will be up tomorrow on Compusport.

A Division - Avalanche
Doors open at 8am
Presentation at 8:30
The Great Peter Hsu will take a group pic followed up with team photo's, needed for plaques.

It's gonna be a tight schedule on Saturday we need to be out by 6pm, due to of Comedy Night. Captains please have your next player on deck ready to go before the match is over. Keep the flow going and grab the balls out for the next match. If need be and we are running to far behind we can take turns and use tables 1 & 2.

Unfortunately Nice Rack as only one player available on Saturday and two for half the day on Sunday so they have decided to pull team from playoffs. Mike will be playing for Flip A Coin on Saturday. There will now be a BYE on the B Division Schedule.

Banquet May 4th at Courtenay Legion Players dinner covered by league and all guest are $25 each. Please have your team head count to me by Sunday.

Prizes for Banquet Each year ever team brings a prize for the raffle, to raise money for our team to compete in the Island Team Championships. This year was decided to pay for Team $250 entry only and players don't need hotel and travel costs this year. It's being hosted in Campbell River so players are staying with team mates from the area. The remainder of money raised will be presented to YANA at the banquet after the first set.

Cue Raffle sponsored by Eyes on The Harbor & C.A.P. Billiards LTD. money raised is for YANA I'll be putting together a prize package tomorrow with everything you needed to play pool. Case, cue, jump cue, break cue, glove, chalk, tool tip, magic rack .. what ever I can fit in or hang off of case.

It's gonna be a great Prize...draw will be done at the banquet!

To keep track of the tickets sold I've decided to keep the raffle at $10 at ticket, the same price as our previous cue draws. Makes it easier for raffle girl as well.

Remember there's still the FREE Falcon Cue Draw at the banquet for all league players!
