CCS VI Championships Nov 14 - 18 is approaching fast and team entries are at our highest in 6 years. All other division are filling up fast so get your entries in and paid ASAP.

If entries fill up in all divisions as it did last year...entries paid come first.

The league is sending 7 teams from Wednesday night and 5 from Tuesday. That's 3 teams more than last year.

Tuesday Estimated costs of Rooms is $1540 + 5 team entries $1010 = $2650.
Wednesday Estimated costs of rooms is $2100 + 7 team entries $1610 = $3710.

In previous years league player have only had to pay $30 each for green fees and league covered the reminder. As I had mentioned at first meeting this could go up depending on how many entries and rooms booked.

Entries are up this year, league will cover the entry only and green fees and registration is up to each player. That will be $40 each player to enter a team in Nanaiomo.

Some of you play in more than one league and are going to compete in this event not representing our league. That means you do not get room or portion of entry covered.

Could each captain please collect the $40 a player and either pay me by e-transfer, cheque or cash ASAP.


Meeting on last Wednesday we had 11 teams in attendance and it was all in favor to remove final league standings payouts and put money into playoffs.

I feel our first meeting was to out of control and this will not happen again. Once Nanaimo is done we will have another meeting to finalize our season.


POY POINTS is almost completed. There has been some confusion with Compusport what to put your stats under and I want to make sure I have all players entered correctly.

I'm asking each captain on Wednesday night league to send me a list of each player that has a stat as well as a NO shot. What I have taken from Compusport may not be correct since some players have been putting under the wrong column.

Once I receive this from every team I will post the POY points.


Month End Tourney at the Avalanche tomorrow and it's a Halloween Jam party so there will be prizes for best costume.
