The CVPL sent representation to the BC Championships in Penticton in every division and a few teams played good enough to bring home some hardware and a little cash.

Ladies Team Run Out.... Deb Williams, Tracy Cross, Christie Tipper and me won 2nd place and $480.

Mens C Division Team Chalk Is Cheap....Dominick Grenier, James Lalonde, Richard Breukers, Greg Brown and Adam Mckay won 2nd place and $900

Scotch Doubles B Division Tracy Cross and Robin Ward took 4th place and $150

Ladies A Division Maryann McConnell won 1st place and $725 and 2018 BC entry.

Ladies B Division Qualifiers Christie Tipper finished tied for 3rd & 4th won $200 and moved up to the A Division.

Final League Meeting is still scheduled for this Wednesday at 6pm at the Avalanche. Please send one representative from each team.

Make Up Matches A few teams had make up matches schedule for this Wednesday but meeting comes first. You can play after regular scheduled match or reschedule for the following week. All make up matches must be done by 6pm...never allowed to start at 6pm. It's only fair for all the players coming in to get time on table to practice.

Playoffs for the A Division is scheduled on Easter weekend it is unfortunate because of our tight schedule. Please advise me at meeting if this effects your team. There is only one alternative and it's not a good one for the venue hosts. Would be to bring my tables out of storage and rent a hall and have both on the same weekend. We can discuss this at meeting.
