Week #5 Stats

Was a great turn out for league meeting with representation from 24 teams. I will have minutes done over the weekend and sent out to all. As some may have noticed I'm not really clear headed these days, going through some rough waters but I will not sink. Just need time and I thank my pool family for being there for me.

Had some great matches on Wednesday and teams are creeping up on Chalk One Up! Few stats on Wednesday and Donna May got her first stat with a Zip moving her into 24th spot and top lady! Great shooting lady!

For the men Serge Tremblay got a ERO and a First Attempted but doesnt count in standing he subbed for Rack No Phobia. Jim Henry, Werner Ostwald, Shan Robinson each got a ERO. Rob Wright, Jim Brown, Gordon Walls, Alwyn Bishop and Robin Ward each got a First Attempted and Vince Bull a ZIP. Great job all!

Get your entries in for CCS VIC Championships Nov 9-13 Go to onlinehttp://www.cdnqsport.com/howtoenter/howtoenter.aspx to enter your team now. Have any questions call. I have two ladies from Lady Balls looking to build a team if any of you are interested please give me a call.

Rooms for the event will be booked at the Coast Hotel or possible the Best Western Based on last year the Best Western didn't stick to their word so I'm still waiting to hear back. I will make a dissension on Monday where I'm booking rooms. Please send me who is rooming with who on your team. Some teams may be split up for two to a room or could end up with 3 in a room depending on my list. Send me rooming info asap.

Floating spares that don't pay nightly fees can not compete in Nanaimo and have the league pay for you There are a couple of you who's names have shown up on team rosters for Namaimo. If you don't pay into prize fund you don't take out. If want to stay on the team I will take back pay for the matches you have played and credit to the teams you have played for.

Player Ranking updated for C players based on last years standing Any player that finished 8 average or higher at season end is now ranked a B player.

Scotch Doubles Tourney Saturday Oct 22 at the Avalanche tables open at noon starts at 1pm, $10 a person and $2 green fee each This will give teams a change to practice before Nanaimo. If you don't have a partner will draw names and team up who's left. So calling all ladies to come on out on Saturday for some good times player Scotch Doubles!

Good Luck, Good Shooting, and most of all Good Sportsmanship!
Rose
