Tonight is the last night of league play, hope your all pumped up and ready for playoffs!


This year scheduling has been a nightmare using both location and trying not to make players travel to much back and fourth. A big thanks to Deb, Darlene & Steve Tasko for all trying to help me try and figure this out. But after many hours and days I finally gave up yesterday and cancelled playoffs!!

Just kidding :) I called Compusport and decided to hire them to do schedule and put us live online. The site is up but you may not be able to see schedule until tomorrow once I give him the team names. I will have a computer at both locations during playoffs to check where you play. Scores won't be inputted until after last match is played.

You can go to compusport.ca and down load to your phone as well.

I will be handing out a blue piece of paper tonight or at playoffs for all to choose your top 3 picks for most improved player. The one with the most votes will win a plaque and $100 at banquet. Also on this sheet there is also a spot to name someone you thought was a pain in the butt or just down right a bad sport this year. Butt Head winner will get no plaque and no money but his name on the Butt Head Award. This sheet must be handed in to me asap and no later than after playoffs.

Scoresheets and envelopes will be handed out at playoffs and after each match please hand into drop box at each location.

This weekend I'll be around doing 50/50 draw as well as a pool case raffle. I do not want anyone to take a chance and drive if impaired! I will be here to give rides if needed. If someone is interested in doing the same for when the A Division is playing please do let me know.

The new scheduling program with Compusport already has the home and away position figured out so you can have your scoresheets ready before each match to help save on time.

If matches are finished earlier yes you can start your next match early. If matches are running behind on Saturdays the 16th you will be asked to add another table to complete your match. The Avalanche has Comedy Night on Saturday 16 and Devin would like us to try and be done on tables by 7pm or shortly after, as the bar fills up fast on Comedy night.

I've been asked if refs will be around for playoffs and I'm not sure. All refs are aware off playoffs but no one has offered there just isn't money in the budget to pay them. But if someone is willing I will get your pop free at Avalanche and I will pay for lunch for half a day and dinner if you work the whole day.
