For those of you not in attendance during our last league meeting of the season, Rose went over the prize fund, budgets for Naniamo Championships and BC's in Penticton, as well as trophies, banquet and playoffs.

There has been a lot of discussion in regards to the handicap in the A bracket for playoffs and it was brought to a vote. A vote of 8 to 3 in favor of NO handicap in the A Bracket Playoffs. It will remind Round Robin based on overall points.

All teams also voted in favor of changing the handicap format for spares to the following.....
A player - 11 avg
B player - 9 avg
C player - 7 avg

This new format will be used for playoffs for all spares that have bounced around to many team and don't have a accurate handicap on one given team. If you use a player who is a regular player on a team with a higher average than you use that average. Next year when you sub for a team it will go as stated above.

If you are in need of a spare or are interested in sparing for this seasons playoffs, please contact Rose ASAP so she can help with arrangements.
You must have a minimum of 8 weeks of league play to be eligible for playoffs. If a player is short games or weeks player will need to be approved by board.
