Hello all :)

I've been away for a few weeks and would like to thank Deb and Darlene for holding down the fort and doing a great job as always.

In my absence my team has been short two regular B players and they have grabbed spares from other teams. It has gotten back to me that I brought in a 3rd A player and stacked the team. First I would like to let you all know that Dave Griffen has come down for the 3rd year in a row from White Horse at this time of year and has subbed for many teams in the past few years as a B player. Before I used Dave I went to Fergie, Jason Rushton and Deb and asked what they thought Dave Griffins skill level was because they all play with him at 9 ball. They all agreed he wasn't an A player but a good B player and was in the same skill level as myself. I told my team to put him in as a 9.5 average to keep it fair and than we grabbed Jen Irvine from Scratch.

I operate my business with a high standard of ethics. I would never bring a player in with out getting them approved or stack a team. There are many of you that I have given the chance to prove yourself and come in the first year as a B player so it disappoints me to hear of these concerns.

Also we have a makeup match to do and for those that have been concerned about that as well we will be playing this Wednesday. I've been away dealing with personal and serious health issues. Carl is away at work and Eamond went to Mexico so it wasn't possible to have match done within the two week period. Now today I received a rude message accusing me of stacking my team and way can't I get a team out with 9 players on my roster. I have 8 on roster and 6 are regular players, 3 are A players, Jason Van De Weijel played once at the beginning of season for us and once for Rack-No-Phobia and has never come back. Neil Hawkings has left the team that's when we picked up Eamonn. I have 3 A's and 3 B's it was unfortunate that the holidays, work and what I'm dealing with has hurt us from fielding a solid team, which has also hurt us in the standings as we continue to move down.

I would appreciate any future concerns you have to feel free to contact me directly in a calm and courteous manner. This is a fun and competitive league and I have always looked out for the best interest of this league as a whole and never have given my team any favoritism. Being a member of the CVPL is not a given right it is a privilege.

Cheers
Rose
