Pool on Wednesday went over pretty good considering how tired and beat up I felt. I only missed another stat on the 8 ball grrrrrrr… that’s 2 this year on the 8 ball. Since Monday I’ve been sleeping 10 to 12 hour nights and just starting to get back to myself. The big tourney sure took a lot out of me this year, good thing I love what I do :)

We have some champs in our league!
Over all the CCS Vancouver Island Championships went really good for the CVPL. The league had payers finished in the money in almost every event. Magic Moments had an excullent event winning the B Qualifing and than taking 3rd in the A Division. Breaking bad lost in the qualiyfing to Balls In Hand than crushed each team to take first in C Division. Guess who's all ranked B next year :) Great shooting all Happy Happy Happy for you all :)

Congrates to you all!

2nd - Werner Ostwald - M9 Ball second chance
4th – Richard Smith & Tracy Cross - Scotch Doubles
5th - Fergie & Danita Daigle - Scotch Doubles
1st - Werner Ostwald - Men’s Singles B Division
2nd – Stacy Wallington - Men’s Singles B Division
3rd – Dominick Grenier – Mens Single C Division
1st – Breaking Bad – Mixed C Division Teams
1st – Magic Moments – Mixed B Division Teams Qualifying Bracket
3rd – Magic Moments – Mixed A Division Teams
4th - Ice Breakers - Ladies Teams

Now with the ladies division there was a bit of confusion who took fourth because the River City Hot and Ice Breakers were tied at 59 points. If you look at the standings Ice Breakers won 4 matches lost 2 and tied 1. The River City Hot Shots won 3 lost 3 and tied 1 match. So the Ice Breakers won one more match than River City Hot Shots moving them into 4th. Now if both teams had won and lost the same amount of matches than it would have gone to the River City Hot Shots because they beat them in that match.

We had a few stats on Wednesday and a big congrates to Lynda Paul's getting a First attempted and her first stat in league play :) Jim Brown, Werner Ostwald & Rob Wright all got two First attempts each. Stacy Weallington Dominick Grenier & Vince Bull and Shane robinson each got a ERO. Joe Kitto & Heather Whalen each got a ZIP. Great shooting guys & gals :)

YANA 50/50 Raffle is growing really fast this year. Thanks to Darlene for getting the bucket back and forth from Chalk & the Avalanche eaxch night, really helps the pot grow. Congradulations to Donna May winner of $119, YANA pot is now up to $2175.50

I thank all of you that entered events to help make this years event another success. The event is growing each year and looks like I may need to buy a few more tables for next year :)

Cheers :)
Rose
