It was nice to see the meeting went smooth and everyone agree on our format for playoffs. Something has come up and I need to talk with the following captains asap and before Monday please. Balls In Hand, Lame Ducks, Cue Tease, Snookin 4 Luv, The Mex Hookers, The Breakers, B Side Ourselves and Chalk One... Some of you I have already spoken with and I'm waiting for your answer and a few of you I haven't spoken with. Please call me Sunday after 12pm it is very important I need this situation figured out by Monday...250 218-8819.

There was one thing I did forget to bring up at meeting. As you all know Walter Trayling had a stroke, but is home now and doing well. He was very thankful for the card and all the visits but unfortunately won't be able to finish the season. Our team picked up Carl Behan from the Mex Hookers but his work has him out of town every week but one, and thats including playoffs. We found a new player and added him to our team his name is Drew Moore. Jason Rushton has played with him and can guarantee he is not a ringer and no better than a B player to keep our team fair for playoffs. I also was just informed that the Mex Hookers has now also added a new player because they are short for playoffs as well. I will be out to meet players to assure their skill level is not above teams allowance. If you have played any of these new players and have concerns please do call me. I hope you all understand how important I feel it is for all teams to have a fair chance to play in playoffs and I will do what I can to help each situation out fairly.

I would like to mention that I missed Bernie Caton 1/2 a room costs from the Nanaimo tournament, because he stayed at the Travel Lodge and was not in my books. I new someone stayed there but couldn't remember, sorry Conway I thought it was you. Also thanks to Ben Gill for covering the cost of $100 for the dinner for the band. Once trophies, hall, table cloth rentals and anything else we need is covered. I will have a finial financial report handed out at playoffs.

9 Ball at Chalk Lounge had another great turn out of 23 players. Congratulations to Conway Pauls who won the 9 Ball pot of $1149 next week the pot is at $222 with 3 draws.

I'm hosting the Island Team Challenge June 6 & 7 here in Courtenay if you are interested in playing in this event please give me a call or right on your league envelope. I'm trying to build our strongest team possible and we need 3 women and 7 men as well as spares. I will let all know by the banquet who made the team and if we are able to enter a second team.
