Week #19

It's been a few months since I wrapped up the second annual CCS Vancouver Island Championships in Nanaimo. Entries in all division were up from the previous year and Ted Harms has just sent me the final report and complimented me on another successful and well run event and looks forward to next year! To show my thanks and appreciation for the 24 people that helped me out to make this event a great success, I invite you all to a family style dinner and wine on Feb 22 at 7pm at Yiamas Greek Tavern.

CCS BC Championships in Penticton Feb 25 to March 1st we have a few players that couldn't make it on the men's team and we had to work our way down the list. The men's team Magic Moments will be Werner Oswald, Jim Brown, Rob Horton, Fergie and Gary Adams. Anyone that wants to play in any other event please register online asap and get your money e-transferred to Subrina at samonteith@shaw.ca or cash to me no later than Wednesday Feb 18th. No late fees!

There was a few stats on Wednesday and kinda ironic that the new players on the men's team for Penticton got a few stats and moved up into the top five stop. Fergie got a fist attempted and a ZIP. Mike Hawkins & Gary Adams each got a ERO. Peter Hsu, Bernie Caton, Jim Brown & Jason Rushton all got a first attempted and Wilf Facey got a ZIP.
