Week #14

Welcome back all to the second half of league play, it was a fun night and it was nice to see you all. Sure could tell who got rusty over the holidays and who took the time to practice. Robin Ward got a ERO & a ZIP, Kevin Ostashek, Werner Ostwald, Steve Kelly, Mike Gard, Gordon Walls each got a ERO, Dave Blinsky, Greg Brown, Jessica Wade, & TJ got first attempts, sorry about your luck TJ you were subbing :( Bill Laramee, Gary Adams,Dave Young, Randy Brown, Donna May, Dominick Greiner each got a ZIP. Good shooting all! Sorry if I missed to announce a players stats in past but I did post it in your stats.

We had no YANA Raffle Wednesday night, I forgot to bring the bucket :( to date the pot is at $1587.

Last Saturday of the month tourney at the Avalanche there was 28 players and Deb did a great job running it. Was a good day for Peter Hsu shooting his way through some tough competition to take home the win. Great Shootng Peter!
1st Peter Hsu $160
2nd Jim Brown $100
3rd Werner Ostwald $60
4th Fergie $40
Top lady Jen Irvine $20

Next last Saturday of the month tourney at the Avalanche is Jan 31...mark your calender.

Tuesday 9 Ball at Chalk I heard it was a little crazy last week letting 28 players in. I have had a few complaints about this so we are going back to capping it at 20 players max, as we all had decided as a group in the past. This way you will be done at a reasonable time and let the players play the regular race in each match. The pot did not go last week so it's now at $1915 with 16 draws. Doors open at 5pm and tourney will start at 6pm with a 20 game roster, bye's will be put in if there isn't 20 players. I'm sorry I can't post last weeks winners, I'm still waiting for that info. I was also informed that a player got to shoot a second time after a miss cue on the break for the 9 Ball pot. We started with the rule that a miss cue is a shot and we will stay with that ruling. It is not fair to change things when the pot is so high. See you all Tuesday!

Please double count your cash in envelopes before you seal them some are short a buck or two and some have added a quarter or dime. I'm not going to start inputting little extra change... so I owe Magic Moments a quarter and Snookin for Love a dime ;)

Makeup Match envelops have not been turned in from Shooting Ducks and Cue-Tease that was played on Dec 27. All envelopes are to be turned in the same day after you play your match unless we have made other arrangements. Who ever has them please call me and I will come and pick it up.

Feb 14th Valentines Day Scotch Doubles Tourney at Chalk Lounge is going to be the next fun tourney since Cory's fundraiser. I'm still waiting on confirmation of the list of prizes but were planning to make it a big one with lots of prizes and fun for all! There will be limited space of 16 teams and I will be taking early registration, give me a call to register. $25 a couple includes a $5 green fee.

Good Luck, Good Shooting and, most of all Good Sportsmanship :)
Rose
