Summer Singles playoffs at the Avalanche wrapped up it's 12 week session on Wednesday. We had 42 players out over the 12 weeks, 30 qualified for playoffs, 29 players attended playoffs and total payouts were $1435. plus lots of great prizes for every player. First player out got first choose of a prize sponsored from the Avalanche, C.A.P. Billiards LTD and Labbatts.

What a great day for Peter Hsu who diffidently brought his A game to the playoffs and went undefeated up the A side and is the Summer Singles 2014 Champ! James Lalonde finished in second and had a long trip up the B side after Heather Cooper took him out his first match on the A side. Heather had a great finishing tied for 5th & 6th and was top lady of the day. There was a lot of great matches and and I gotta say the ladies sure did shine and take out a few of the big boys. Seeing everyone happy makes for another success full event.

Each player that got a stat during league play received $5 for each stat 21 stats total = $105 paid out

Celebration of life for Doug Carter[/BOLD is at the Avalanche on Aug 5th from 2-4pm. Doug was my #1 installer and was a big part of the success of my company C.A.P. Billiards LTD. He taught me everything there was to know about working on pool tables, I taught him a thing or to about the game. He was a great sport and a pleasure to play with. When he joined the league he became family...I invite all players to drop in and shoot a game of pool in memory of Doug. Tuesday August 5th tables open at 2pm till....................you's had enough!!
