I would like to congratulate Conway Pauls for putting in the time refereeing at the ACS Championships in Vegas May 10 - 16. I've been told he did a excellent job and Cecil the head ref has put in the request for him to move up to the National level and was invited back next year. Great job Conway and were very proud of you for putting in the time and hard work that was needed to succeed and move up to the National level.

If Werner could resend me the info on how all the other teams and players did from Vegas I would love to post it.

Vancouver Island Team Challenge June 7 & 8 at Peacock Billiard in Victoria I need all players to confirm with me by tomorrow at the Avalanche at 6:30 for a quick meeting. I have team shirts for all to try on and we need to confirm room assignments as well as rides. If you can't make it tomorrow please give me a call to confirm your spot.

As you see we have extra players because I believe there will be a few last minute cancellations and I need conformation tomorrow from these players that are a maybe. The days will also be long a few players would like a sub so no one is forced to play tired. There will be a tournament the Friday night if players would like to go up earlier. But all teams must be there by 8:15 for team meeting that would mean we leave at 5:15am Saturday. We will figure out who's driving and who's going up early tomorrow at meting.

We will be staying at the Best Western 642 Johnson Street, the hotel is 2 blocks to pool hall.

I have been getting lots of calls from players coming out tomorrow so get to the Avalanche early if you want to play. If we have more than 30 players you will be asked to try the tournament at Chalk to qualify for that playoffs on Aug 6th.
