CCS V.I. 8 & 9 Championships Nov 20-24 in Nanaimo at the Vancouver Island Conference Center team entries from our league are listed below. As voted in at last league meeting all teams that would like to go and compete have team entry paid but have to pay green fees. I'm very pleased at how many teams we are sending in all divisions so far. It's unfortunate we lost two A players from the A Division team that was going to represent the league but we have replaced them and are now sending a great B Division team instead.
It seems some people are concerned with the ranking system with CCS and why teams are in a certain division. Players are ranked through CCS from past championships and when I enter each team CCS determines the division that each team plays in. Now if a team has players on it that are not ranked that team can be ranked on Known Skill Ability. As every other Championship we have sent teams to, I try to give each team the opportunity to earn their ranking but the final ranking is decided by Ted Harms president of CCS.
