In the 6 years of running this league this is the closest I have ever seen the team stats. I believe the skill level of this league is diffidently improving.

CCS VI Championships Nov 20-24 is only 41 sleeps away and it's so nice to see such a great interest from so many players that want to go. I can't stress enough how important that is and that I have full support from this league. It's very important that we send the most team entries as possible from this league to this event.

I've worked very hard to bring an event to the Island for all to have the opportunity to compete in a big championship. We need a great turnout from this event to guarantee that there will be one next year. My goal is to send at least 8 team entries from our league and we have a great prize fund and should be able to make this happen. This event needs to become our main priority over Penticton and winners from this event will win spots to compete in Penticton.

I need to know what teams are interested in going to compete if your team entry and room for one night was covered for the team event and room covered only if you didn't have a place to stay in Nanaimo. Captains please give me a call or email before meeting with your answer. You all know how I feel on this and I'm asking all to consider this when voting at our next meeting.

CCS Referee Course was schedule for a group review Monday Oct 21 at 7pm at the Avalanche. After speaking with Ted today he suggests to get test send in a.s.a.p. So could Deb Williams, Fergie, & Rob Horton and anyone else that is interested in becoming a ref to please give me a call. I would like us to get together a.s.a.p. after Thanksgiving.
