Last night was a night full of good times wrapping up our Summer Singles League. This was our biggest turn out to date, we had 43 players out during the 12 weeks and 32 players qualified for playoffs. When I created this summer league my plan was to keep it fun for all skill levels of players. And all players finish the season feeling like a winner, even if they finished last. Everyone makes a few bucks and first player out gets first pick of sponsored prizes from Avalanche, Labatts and C.A.P. Billiards LTD. This season players payed in $1540 and C.A.P. Billiards LTD added $215 gave us $1755 for playoffs and we had a few hundred in sponsored prizes.

Summer Singles is also when players start forming teams for winter league. I believe our winter season is going to continue to grow, team rosters already being filled out last night. This Saturday is the last Saturday of the month tourney at the Avalanche tables open at noon $10 entry $2 green fee bar adds $100 to the pot.
