The article for the paper has been sent out and hopefully it will make it in Friday's paper. I sent in pictures of the A & B Division winners. I've requested to put both in but it always depends on how much room there is. Could everyone please check and see if they have a picture of us presenting the cheque to YANA. I really need one to pass on to Judy for YANA's web site.

Just a reminder 9 Ball is every Tuesday's at Chalk Lounge, tables open at 6pm and starts at 7pm. It is handicapped and played with regular 9 Ball rules. It is up to the tournament director to rank you based on your known skill ability. You will either be ranked an A, B or C, if your an A player the 9 ball wins the game, B ranked the 8 ball wins the game, C ranked 7 ball wins the game. I need to know how many players would be interested in turning Tuesday night 9 Ball into a 12 week summer session starting mid May. You would pay the same but we would save the money like winter league and have a playoffs for better payouts in the end. If your interested email me or let Deb know on Tuesday night.

Summer singles league is scheduled to start Wednesday May 1st at the Avalanche. It is a 12 week drop in session and you need to show up a minimum of 5 weeks to qualify for playoffs. The cost is $5 a night and a one time $10 registration fee with 100% pay back to the players.

We had another donation from Tracy Cross of $100 to go towards the fund for Cory Waugh's new sled. To date we have raised $1350, thank you all for your support. :).

We have our team confirmed for the Island Team Challenge June 1st & 2nd.Representing the CVPL is Bernie Caton, Alwyn Bishop, Wayne Stewart, Bill Lamaree, Fergie, Rob Horton, Terry Iriye, Deb Williams, Tracy Cross & me!

Hope to see you all soon!
Rose
