We had our last meeting of the year on Wednesday night and I think all went very well. Playoffs are now April 3, 6 & 7 and the banquet will either be April 12 or 13 still waiting on confirmation from venue. There will be one change for playoffs.....I did schedule that A side would be at Chalk and B side at the Avalanche but after playing there on Wednesday I feel we must change this. There is not enough room at Chalk Lounge to accommodate seating for 10 teams and would be frustrating for all players. So A side will be at the Avalanche and B side at the Bridge I will have complete schedule for all teams March 28 day after last night of league play. Start times may change in each division and I will know once Chalk Lounge confirms with me what time they will open early for us. I should have complete banquet details together by coming Wednesday when I hand out minutes of meeting.

There was a few stats on Wednesday night, Shane Robinson ERO, Richard Smith, Mike Tredwell, Dave Blinsky all got a FIRST and Al Wingert ZIP. Team Drive By is pulling ahead a little and holding on to first place but there is still two weeks left and a few teams under you still have some fight left in them.

I would like to run the test next week for those interested in becoming a certified referee. Thursday night March 21st at 7pm at the Avalanche. It is an open book test and I think we can get through the test in 1 1/2 hours. I will only print test for those that confirm with me that they will be able to make it. If interested and can't make this date let me know and I will schedule a second date after playoffs .

Don't forget Monday night at Chalk Lounge is 9 Ball with Deb and Tuesday night at the Bridge Lounge is 9 Ball with Steven. Each night is $5 and $2 green fee tables open at 6pm for free play.

For those of you waiting for items on order I just completed order yesterday and all is on it's way! Sorry Mike except your Predator glove still on back order. There has also been a few people that have asked me for pool tables over the last few months. I have a 4 x 8 valley table comes with new cloth for $800. And I will sell table #4 from the Avalanche for $1000 has Simonis cloth on it. I also have on order more tables that are just like the ones from Chalk Lounge and if you are interested they comes delivered to Courtenay from Calgary for $1500. I can guarantee no damage to laminate but may need new cloth. There are 4 other tables that have damage to the laminate but slate is in great shape and will need new cloth. They are $700 each plus shipping from Calgary if interested in any of the above please give me a call.
