Could everyone please recheck the schedule each week, I have made a few changes over the next few weeks. Due to the fact we can't use the two tables 3 & 4 in the far back room at the Avalanche. I won't change who you play or the home or visitor position but your location of play may change. The backroom where tables 1 & 2 are will only be open on league night. You will also notice a wall up between the sitting area and tables 1 & 2. No drinks allowed in pool table area by tables 1 & 2 and no carry drinks from lounge area to main bar area. This is temporally but we are not sure for how long so please be patient with the bar staff and the scheduling until they can resolve this issue.

This will also affect teams trying to reschedule make up matches. Please call me with date and time you would like and I'll try and arrange for them to get staff in and open back bar.

There will also be no Saturday tournaments at the Avalanche over the next few weeks. Hopefully we will have all tables available by month’s end. I will keep you all posted.

As I had posted at the start of the season in your team Hand Book playoffs would either be the first or second weekend of April. Well it looks like UFC is April 6th and playoffs would be April 12th. It was brought up at the first meeting of the year that if this happened we should run a few matches on the Wednesday nights in between this date. I think this will be the best and I will have a format and schedule ready for our last league meeting which is scheduled for Feb 27 at 6pm at the Avalanche.

Last Saturday we had 16 players out for Scotch Doubles and it was a great time for all. Coaching was allowed and I think it was a great way for all to inprove their game. We were planning on another one for Feb 9th but this all depends on what happens at the Avalanche. I will keep you posted.

Monday night handicapped 9 Ball at Chalk with Deb and Tuesday night handicapped 9 Ball at the Bridge with Steven tables open at 6pm starts at 7pm.

We had a few stats last night Bill Laramee, Rob Horton & Bernie Canton each got a First Attempted and Terry Iriye got an ERO. Since I got bumped from top lady a few weeks back there sure has been a few ladies in reach of the title. Deb Williams just moved into first putting Christie Tipper in second and Tracy Cross is now the one right on their butts. No need to worries about me ladies I’m going the other direction this year! Keep up the great shooting all!
