Congratulations to a few more players that should their skills at the table and collected a few more stats. Dominick Griener & Dave Young each got a ERO, Tim Mickle a ERO & a ZIP, Bernie Canton a ZIP, Bill Laramee a FIRST and Vince Bull got his first stat of the year and got a ZIP! Good job guys! And for all of us that keep choking on the 8 ball for a stat, there's a game out there called CHOKE to help with that!

Tomorrow is our playoffs for CCS Championships in Penticton Feb 13-17 at the Avalanche and doors open at 10:30 starts at 11:30. We have 6 teams playing in a Round Robin format based on overall points. I could still use a few people as refs for the day if you have a couple of hours of free time to put in give me a call.

For those of you not playing in this event Maryann & Robin would like to invite you down to Port Alberni Billiards and play in the 9 Ball Island Tour Tournament tomorrow. Doors open at 11am starts at noon. I’m sure she would love to see you all!

I’ve had many requests to handicap all 9 Ball Tournaments on Monday & Tuesday nights, to give everyone an equal chance. I agree and think it will get more players out , so if you’re a C player you shot for the 7 Ball, a B player the 8 Ball and a A player the 9 Ball. If the 9 goes down you spot it for C & B players. Now there are a lot of B players that shoot a great game of 9 Ball and should play the game straight up. I will leave that up to each tournament director to decide. Remember a players rankings can also be based on known ability of skill level at the table.
