Wow the stats sure were flying on Wednesday night! Tracy Cross got her first stat and it was a First Attempt way to go girl! Hold on there was a lot more; Ted Willoughby, Emil Zapp, Jim Brown, Tim Nickle all got First Attempts, Gerry Davis got 2 First Atempts Wayne Stewart got a First attempt and an ERO, Dave Prichard a ZIP and Rob Horton an ERO! I think thats the most we have ever had in one night! Great shooting everyone!

I would like to thank all of you that have made purchases of billiard supplies from me over the holidays all your support makes it more possible for me to sponsor so many great prizes at our events. Thank You. Over the next few weeks I will continue to have a display of billiard supplies set up at the Avalanche on league night. All Duffrine cues come with a free case! I'm also working on another order which will go out next Thursday Jan. 10th if there is something special I can bring in for you let me know.

The playoffs for the final Penticton trip is Jan. 12 & 13. It seems we have lost a few teams and we are now down to 6 teams out of 10 and most teams do not have 5 players. I do not want to lose more teams because of politics and would like all teams to have a fair chance. The format change I propose is 4 player teams 16 game format at the Avalanche and all matches on 2 tables Round Robin Format handicapped based on overal points. If your a team that has 5 players you must use all 5 players by subbing in and out fairly and if your team wins the trip you have a team of 5 for Penticton. If a team that has 4 players wins the trip the 5th player will come from the second place team. It will be up to the second place team if they want to do a Round Robin, draw straws or what ever they decide as a team who gets that spot.

There is a few things to discuss; players eligablity, rankings and final format for this tournament so we need to call a captains meeting for Wednesday the 9th at 6pm at the Avalanche. I ask all captains to attend this meeting and matches can change start time to 7:30 to give all captains at meeting time to practice before their match.
