Yesterday we had a great turn out of spectators out supporting the teams playing at the Avalanche Bar & Grill competing for the third trip to the CCS Lucasi Championships in Penticton Feb 14-19.

It was a long day of some serious pool shooting and everyone showed their best sportsmanship through out the whole evenging, First match was The Cuefellas score of 214 against Are We High and with a score of 178. Second match Are We High had a score of 155 and Sunnydale Slidder had 211. Than the Cue Fellas played Sunnydale Slidders and what a match it came down to the last game and Bill was hooked on the 8 ball but did a sweet jump shot and made it to win that match Sunnydale Sledders 184 Cuefellas 178 so top two teams were The Cuefellas and Sunnydale Slidders played in the finals first round Slidders diffidently brought their A game to the table and kept-ed increasing there lead each round on the Cuefalls and went on to win the Championships!

I thank Greg Shelvey and Rob Horton for coming out and refereeing for us you did an excellent job and took a lot of stress off of me. Thanks again guys! Also like to thank Darcy, Ed, Chris Don and Kevin for helping me set up the event and get the tables cleaned for play.

Wednesday could all trip winners please come to the Avalanche for 6pm so we can get all singles and scotch doubles teams all finalized and paid for as well as figure out room our arrangements.

We have a great group in this league and I think were sending 3 very competitive teams to the Championship!
