Important Message

It has been brought to my attention that we may have one or more teams out there trying to sandbag to keep their team in the bottom half for playoffs and I was asked what would I do to stop this.

As being league operator I have final say how the league is divided for playoffs, format and what division I feel a team should be playing in. My decisions are always based on whats best for the league as a whole.

If you want to come out and throw your games and keep your average down I could do one or all of the following to you and your team.

* In playoffs move your team to the bottom of the top half and make you play the number one team first.
* Not allow you to play in payoffs because you are cheating.
* Or maybe let you play in the bottom half and you all become a 10 average.

I work very hard to build a league that is fun and fair for all skill levels of play and I will not tolerate this. I will not hesitate to use you and/or your team or teams as an example and suspend you from league play.

So my advice to you is pick up your game and play like I know you can or I may remove you from the league.

I have been adding rankings to all players based on your last average at the end of your last session of play. And for new players of the league I have a signed some of you a ranking based on your known ability right off the bat. Some still have an X beside their name because I'm unsure at this time.

These are our league ranking how you preform within our league only and does not effect ranking for Championships in Penticton. The way I've listed below is how CCS and many other leagues divide players into ranking categories based on their last session of play.

Ranking will go as follows:

7.9 and under a C player
8.0 to 8.4 is a B player
8.5 to 8.9 is a A player
9.0 and up is a A+ player

Sure we all have a bad night, but it really doesn't look good on you playing as a C player when your ranked as a A player!
I ask you to go back and read the rules on Good Sportsmanship because not giving it your all is very poor Sportsmanship!

Good Luck, Good shooting & most of all a reminder Good Sportsmanship!
