Week #26

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you all!

Hope your all out there showing off a little Irish, we all of some in us this time of year.
Cindy Brown and I went around handing out letters for sponsorship and today prizes started
to come in for the banquet. Some teams have called and said their working on collecting some as well.
If you need a letter give me a call I have one I can email you. Thank you all for the help this banquet is goanna rock!

The Avalanche is sponsoring the dinner for every player that plays in the playoffs.
If there is any additional tickets needed for a guest they are $15. a ticket.
I need total head count by next week so please write on the back of your score sheet who
is playing in playoffs and how many extra tickets you would like.

Last night looks like I missed some good pool and some very close matches. Jason Cullen was the top
last night he got a Zip and a First Attempted and Keven Kane and Jason Rushton each got a Zip.
Excullent Shooting Boys!

Just a reminder that league fees must be paid in full by March 30 to be aeligible for playoffs.

My apologies for not making it around last night with the playoffs schedule, but as most of you know
I’ve been very sick with that nasty flu bug. Thank all of you that have sent me get well emails and texts
I appreciate them and the jokes were great as well, keep them coming I need that laughs!
And special thanks to Tracy for picking up and droping of score sheets for me.

Now I’ve done the schedule in excel and I can’t send it through the league program.
But I can tell you what I’ve done and will hand it out next Wednesday.
Playoffs will be Saturday April 2 starting at 11:30 bar will be open at 10:30 but no alcohol till 11:30.
Match start times will be 11:30 – 2:00 – 4:30 – 7:00 on Saturday.
Then on Sunday each team will only play one match the A side will start at 1pm and the B side will start at 2pm. This gives us time if there is a tie in the A side because the format is based on wins it could happen.
On the B side you play for points if there is tie then you count games won.
This format will also give time to set up for banquet and play some speed pool in between.
Dinner is a buffet roast beef dinner with all the fixins scheduled for 6pm followed by awards and raffles.

Pool at the Avalanche this Saturday must start at noon sharp!
We have to be done by 6pm because of UFC Fight.
All pool players that play in tournamnet that day get into fight FREE!

Good Luck & Good Shooting and most of all Good Sportsmanship to you all!
Rose
