Week # 24

With only 4 weeks of league play left the teams from 2nd to 5th sure have a close race going on.
This makes league play fun when all the teams are so close in their calibre of play and will sure make playoffs exciting.

Only one state on Wednesday and that was David Wetmore got his second ZIP of the season.

I have been asked where are the minutes of the meeting from our final league meeting of the season.
Well with so much going on over the last week the secretary has not had the time to get them into me.
She should have them to me this week and I will hand it out to all on Wednesday.
I don’t know at this time what the exact vote was on each decision, but I can tell you that it was voted in
that both top and bottom half will be a Round Robin format.
The top half is based on wins and the bottom half is handicapped based on overall points.
It was also decided the both teams will put score sheets into an enveloped sign the back and will be put
into the safe. After the final match on Sunday we will open them together and post all scores.

Tomorrow we are having another tournament at the Avalanche tables open at 11:30 starts at 1pm sharp.
We will have 5 tables to play on and when we have time to move to 4 tables were going to run a Speed Pool Challenge.

I would like to thank all of you that have been phoning, texting, sending me emails and in person that you support the decision that myself and the board had to make last week. I’ve worked hard to build a league that’s fun & fair for all skill levels of play and I love my job but it’s not always an easy one and knowing I have the support of the league behind me means a lot to me.

Thank you!
Good Luck, Good Shooting & most of all Good Sportsmanship!
Rose
